David came to us after a previous FUE surgery elsewhere had left him with visible scarring and an unnatural hairline.
Working with black hair on white skin is always more challenging when aiming for a truly natural look. David’s donor area had been unevenly harvested by another clinic, where all grafts had been taken from a small 12 x 7 cm rectangular area. This was highly visible when we shaved him. His hairline was also filled with multi-grafts placed at the wrong angles, making it appear harsh and unnatural.
Dr. Emil performed a delicate repair using only 2,220 grafts. To avoid overharvesting and the potential need for SMP in the future, graft usage was kept minimal. Of these, 440 were single hairs carefully placed to create a soft and feathered hairline. The hairline was also lowered to smooth over the existing multi-grafts. This complex repair required precision and artistry – but gave David the natural result he deserved.
